| Instructions
for Use |
| To mount the shelf for initial installation of network
components: |
Mark
wall w/template.
Mount shelf on wall with four screws.
Attach patch panel(s), blank plate, and power strip to shelf
as desired, using 10-32 screws provided.
Insert Velcro (included) in side slots provided to manage
station cables (see diagram below). |
| To rotate patch panel(s) for easy wire connections: |
Pull
plunger assembly on each side of shelf AND turn counterclockwise
until the plunger locks open.
Rotate top of patch panel downward until backside is exposed.
To release plunger assemblies, turn clockwise and lock patch
panel in reverse position.
Position wire manager as desired.
Allow enough slack when installing cable to allow patch panel
to swivel into its original position. |
| To return patch panel(s) to functional position: |
Pull
plunger assembly on each side of shelf AND turn counterclockwise
until the plunger locks open.
Rotate bottom of patch panel upward until front of patch
panel is exposed.
To release plunger assemblies, turn clockwise and lock patch
panel in functional position. |
